Indaver Meath EFW Plant

Indaver has successfully developed a 220,000tpa waste management facility which has been operational since December 2012 and generates 17MWe. The plant consists of a waste reception bunker, an incineration furnace with recovery boiler producing superheated steam, a flue gas cleaning plant and a power island. The steam is used for electricity production through a turbo-generator system.

After the successful delivery of process design services during 2009, MWH, now part of Stantec, were responsible for providing EPC-M services including 3D layout integration for all process facilities. During the commissioning stage this included technical project management, design integration and detail design of the steam condensate cycle and balance of plant.
