*4Delivery JV and Southern Water were announced winners at the recent Bentley Be Inspired Awards 2016. The Woolston Wastewater Treatment Works Redevelopment project won the ‘Innovation in Water Treatment Plant’ award.

The awards honor the efforts of Bentley users to advance infrastructure design, construction and operations throughout the world. A panel of global industry experts selected 54 project finalists from over 300 submissions by organizations across 80 countries.

Woolston Wastewater Treatment Works Redevelopment is one of the most significant UK water industry projects to be delivered in the next five years. 4Delivery are carrying out the design and construction of the project, for Southern Water including the critical enabling works on this very important ‘live’ treatment plant in the city of Southampton, UK.

MWH’s team members Stefan Potter and Mark Kift, with support from Stephen Battersby presented the Woolston Wastewater Treatment Works Redevelopment at the ‘Year in Infrastructure 2016 Conference’ and were subsequently crowned winners at the follow on gala dinner held in London.
